The width grows as the blade runs out, so the heavy end of this shape is the far end. There is no fuller. A fuller is a groove that takes weight out of the centre of a blade without narrowing it. This one is flat ground instead, the steel carrying straight across each face. The tang runs the whole way through the grip and out of the top of the pommel, where the end is hammered until it spreads.
