Cowboy Knives

Our best selling work. Rasp steel cowboy knives and bull cutters, forged from farrier rasps so the file teeth stay visible along the spine, paired with a pancake style leather sheath that rides flat and tight against the belt instead of flopping around on horseback.

The bull cutter is the shape that made this collection: a short, deep bellied blade with a blunt forward tip, built for working cattle where a needle point does more harm than good. Alongside it we forge trapper and stockman style fixed blades, ranch knives and Texas pattern pieces.

Handles are cow horn, stag horn, turquoise inlay, camel bone and rosewood, so no two leave the shop the same. Every one comes with the pancake sheath, and a name or brand can be laser engraved on the blade or the sheath. See laser engraving, or rasp steel knives for the full run.
