What we can engrave
- Blade — names, dates, initials, short lines of text
- Bolster — initials and monograms
- Handle scales — wood and micarta take deep, clean engraving
- Sheath — leather stamping and debossed initials
- Logos and crests — send us clean artwork and we'll quote it
Guidelines
- Up to roughly 30 characters on a blade; longer text works better on a sheath.
- Send text exactly as you want it. We engrave what you send, including spelling.
- Damascus is engraved with care to avoid disturbing the pattern — ask us first on heavily patterned billets.
Turnaround and cost
Engraving adds 3 to 5 business days. Pricing depends on placement and length — email for a quote before ordering.
One thing to know
Engraved and personalized knives cannot be returned or exchanged unless there is a defect in the blade itself, since we can't resell them. Please double-check your spelling before you approve the proof. We send a proof image for every engraving order.
