Tomahawks

Hand forged tomahawks, light enough to carry on a belt and heavy enough to be worth carrying. A tomahawk is a small axe with a slim eye and a straight handle, which means it swings fast, drives deep for its weight and rehangs in minutes if you break a haft in the field.

We forge the heads from high carbon steel, harden the bit and leave the body tougher, then hang them on straight grain hickory. Spike, hammer poll and plain patterns, with a leather sheath for the bit.
