Skinner Knives
Hand forged skinner knives built for the part of the hunt nobody photographs. A skinner earns its keep with a deep belly and a sweeping edge, so the blade rides the hide instead of cutting through it, and you finish the animal without three trips back to the stone.
Every skinner in this collection is forged, ground and finished by hand at our shop in High Point, North Carolina. Damascus, rasp steel and high carbon blades, with handles in stag horn, cow horn, turquoise, camel bone and rosewood, and a fitted leather sheath with each knife. Gut hook versions are here too, for hunters who want the zipper without swapping tools.
Add a name, a date or your initials at checkout and the blade becomes the one that gets handed down. See laser engraving, or send us the spec on the custom orders page.
