Hunting Knives

Hand forged hunting knives, made one at a time at our shop in High Point, North Carolina. Fixed blade skinners, drop points, gut hooks and camp companions, forged in Damascus, rasp steel and 1095 high carbon, and finished with a leather sheath that fits the knife it was cut for.

A hunting knife gets judged in bad light with cold hands, so we build for grip and geometry before looks. Full tang through the handle, a belly deep enough to skin without stabbing, and steel that comes back to sharp on a pocket stone in the field.

Going after big game, start with a skinner. Processing at home afterwards, add a boning knife. Buying it as a gift, put his name on the blade with laser engraving.
